History

Syneron’s dental division stands upon a foundation of extensive know-how, based on long years of experience. It all began when four seasoned scientists sought to eliminate the weaknesses of conventional dental lasers by creating a superior tool. Working closely with dentists, the scientists invented LiteTouch.  In 2005, they founded the company, Light Instruments, which was built around this innovative product: the first-ever Laser-in-Handpiece™ device, which offered portability, no fibers and superior cutting abilities.

Two years later, Syneron acquired Light Instruments, and continued to perfect the LiteTouch, making it even safer, more efficient and cost-effective. Now one of Syneron’s five product families, the dental division is committed to ongoing development for the laser industry. To this end, the division continues to work closely with dental practitioners to pioneer novel, ground-breaking tools.
